As an educator, mentor, and community advocate, I believe that every individual possesses greatness within them, and with the right support, they can achieve their dreams. My journey has been rooted in a commitment to uplifting students and fostering a culture of excellence, resilience, and service.

The Journey

Before becoming an educator and community leader, I served in the United States Army for 12 years, an experience that instilled in me discipline, leadership, and a deep commitment to service. My time in the military, combined with my four years of experience in the real estate business and mentorship, has given me a unique perspective on building opportunities for success and propelled me to want to do more. I have always been committed to creating environments where individuals, especially our youth, can thrive—whether in the classroom, the community, or their personal growth journeys.

Teaching Philosophy

I teach to provide students with opportunities to thrive in all aspects of life and unlock their full potential. I firmly believe that individuals are not limited by their circumstances and that true greatness originates from within. My goal is to cultivate a mindset that success is attainable for all and that caring mentors and leaders are there to support them along the way. I strive to instill confidence, resilience, and a passion for lifelong learning in every student I encounter.

Navigating my way through life while pursuing another degree has been a journey of resilience and determination. Balancing the demands of education, family, and career has required immense discipline and perseverance. There were moments of exhaustion and self-doubt, but my commitment to growth and my belief in the power of perseverance kept me moving forward. I have learned that success is not about having a perfect path but about embracing the challenges, learning from setbacks, and continuing to push forward. Through it all, I remain dedicated to uplifting others, proving that with faith, hard work, and a strong support system, anything is possible.
